Earlier this week, hotel industry insiders leaked information about iPads becoming the latest craze in luxury hotel amenities. The best of the best are offering iPads filled with relevant apps to their guests rather than a laptop or even a daily newspaper. Now, Bluebox Avionics wishes to do the same thing with the airline industry bby providing an opportunity for travelers to use their iPads as the source of their in-flight entertainment. Bluebox Avionics is known in the airline industry as the company of choice for providing in-flight entertainment, ...
Since the iPad launched earlier this year, Apple has had trouble keeping up with the demand for the device. Once again, the supply is not keeping up with the demand, and online orders for both Wi-Fi and 3G models are being pushed back. Whereas last week orders were taking 5 to 7 days to ship, today, Apple’s online store indicates that it will be between 7 to 10 days before the device leaves the warehouse. What is the reason for this delay? According to Apple, the demand for the device has been much, much greater than the company anticipated. Thus, ...
As you check into your next luxury hotel stay, the hotel clerk will hand you your keys, a complimentary welcome basket, and an iPad to use during your stay. Does this sound farfetched? Maybe, but not according to hotel industry insiders. In fact, one blogger predicted back in January when the iPad was announced that it could become a staple for upscale hotels. And the insider was right, because last week London’s Berkeley Hotel announced that it will be giving guests in its luxury suites an iPad loaded with themed apps to help enhance their stay. ...

The 3G version of the iPad is set to launch today and retail stores will close from 4-5pm in preparation. How many stores close during business hours like that to ‘get ready’ for their launch? Considering its just the same model except….wait for it…..a 3G version. How many have AT&T already? Come ‘on, raise those hands. How many have crappy service? What? Noone put their hand down. Its a bit weird why they have to shut down stores to stock the same version. I guess when you have to sign up for AT&T ...
Its sad that this device has such great potential yet theres practically zero apps out there for the iPad. Theres a new one out about two weeks ago but its laughable. I’ll review it next week sometime. Don’t worry, you’re not missing anything. Which leads me to ask you…..what features and functionality are you looking for as an agent? Please don’t be shy, I think alot of people want to know just exactly how you’ll use the iPad in a real estate setting. Its not just about searching for homes but I’m thinking ...
