I’m pretty sure the majority of iPhone developers that created real estate apps has been tinkering with the iPad since its release. And since its release, theres only 7 apps related to real estate in the iTunes store. Thats a bit scary in my mind. There are some big players that released apps for the iPhone. I hope those same players are simply creating the best iPad app ever. Until there are more apps to review, I’m going to start covering news away from the real estate arena as well. You’ll be able to find that news under ...
Today I took a look at he ZipRealty application for the iPad. To be honest, thats why you’re here right? I was unimpressed with its limited data and functionality. There was nothing ‘earth shattering’ about the application and it simply wants your information. All of the homes that are for sale are only Ziprealty’s. Or at least it appears that way. I think they should have aggregated more data and displayed their listing more prominently if they wanted to focus on their listings (as they should). But only viewing homes ...
Zillow was one of the first to come out with a real estate application specifically for the iPad and they didn’t disappoint. As you’ll see from the video, its very user friendly for home buyers and with the 3G model, you can basically look up these homes as you drive around the neighborhood. I’ve said many times that this device will change the way home buyers find homes. Its so very early in the ballgame and I still think it will. This blog is practically brand new. It already gets around 50 hits a day from agents and homebuyers ...
Well its been about 2 or 3 hours since I’ve had this new device in my hands and its pretty impressive. The naysayers will probably say whoop de doo, but I think the real numbers will speak for themselves once the stock holders find out how many iPads were actually sold. The UI is very sleek. I was hoping that most apps would be compatible but thats not the case. Its keeps them in the small iPhone format on the iPad. So when I open up Zillow real estate app for example, it actually stays small. There is a “2x” button to make ...
Theres only a few hours left before I lay my hands on the new iPad. As soon as I do I’ll fire up a few reviews on some of the best real estate iPad applications available. Alot will obviously be from the iPhone apps that may be compatible but I’m sure there are quite a few developers already creating some better real estate apps specifically for it. If you have an app you want me to review right off the bat feel free to drop a line. But until then you’ll have to put up with what I review
Zillow is obviously a great startup which really can no longer be called a startup. They’ve created a great presence in the real estate industry by providing consumers estimates of local homes. Zillow originally started in Washington and quickly expanded to their South. They’ve now got the majority of large metropolitan cities under their wing in terms of providing estimates. The Zillow app, which I’ve embeded a Youtube video on, demonstrates their latest application for consumers. From a user standpoint, it is one of the ...
